About Community Matters
Community Matters is a countywide network of nonprofit, civic, faith-based, governmental, volunteer, service, and community organizations, along with individuals who share a common goal: improving the quality of life in Newton County through compassionate stewardship and collaboration.
By bringing people and organizations together, we create opportunities to share information, connect available resources with community needs, identify service gaps, and work collectively toward meaningful solutions.
Today, Community Matters includes 45 members representing more than 30 organizations and individuals. Monthly meetings typically welcome 16–20 participants, providing a forum for collaboration, problem-solving, and community engagement.
